How to Share a Uniview Device with Another User (UNV-Link App)

If you want to allow someone else to view your cameras—such as a family member, staff, or manager—you can securely share access through the UNV-Link mobile app. You control exactly what they can see and do.

Step-by-Step: Share a Device

Launch the app and log into your account.

2. Select the Device

Find your device on the home screen or in live view, then tap the 3 vertical dots next to it.

3. Select “Share”

This will open the device sharing settings.

4. Enter the Recipient’s Account Info

Type in the email address or username of the person you're sharing with.
They must already have a registered UNV-Link account.

5. Set a Sharing Period (Optional)

You can choose how long they’ll have access—set to permanent or select a time range.

6. Choose Permissions

Decide what the user is allowed to do:

  • ✅ Live View

  • ✅ Playback

  • ✅ PTZ Control

  • ✅ Two-Way Audio

  • ✅ Alarm Messages

  • ✅ Device Configuration

7. Tap Share to Confirm

The user will now receive access and the shared device will appear in their app.

👤 Recipient Instructions

The shared user should:

  1. Open the UNV-Link app

  2. Log in to their account

  3. The shared device will show up automatically in their device list

❗ Notes

  • Only the device owner can initiate sharing.

  • The recipient must be registered with a UNV-Link account in the same region/server.

  • You can manage or cancel sharing anytime under Me → Sharing Management.
