How to View Playback in the UNV-Link App

Use the UNV-Link app to easily review recorded footage from your Uniview recorder or camera.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Launch the app and log in (if required).


2. Go to Live View

From the Home screen, tap on a camera to open its Live View.


3. Tap the Playback Tab

At the bottom of the Live View screen, tap Playback to enter playback mode.


4. Select the Date and Time

  • Tap the date and time that is about the timeline


  • Pick the date and time from the calendar and tap ok

  • Swipe left or right on the timeline to navigate through footage


🛠 Playback Tools & Features

  • Zoom in: Pinch to zoom in on the video

  • Pause/Play: Tap the pause icon to stop playback and tap again to resume

  • Sound: Tap the speaker icon to turn audio on or off

  • Speed Control: Adjust the playback speed (slow or fast)

  • Snapshot: Capture a still image from the footage

  • Record: Save a video clip directly to your phone

  • Split Search: Drag sliders on the timeline to split and review multiple short segments for faster searching

💡 Tips

  • For best results, make sure your recorder is online and recording is properly scheduled.

  • You can switch back to Live View anytime by tapping the Live View tab.

  • Use Multi-Window Playback to view recordings from multiple cameras at once.
