Removing a User’s Access

Removing a User’s Access

When a resident moves out or a card is lost, remove their access right away. You have two options depending on the situation:

Option A — Delete the User

  1. Go to Access → Users.

  2. Find the person in the list (search by name).

  3. Click their name to open their record.

  4. Click Delete, then confirm.

Notes
Best when the person is gone for good.

Option B — Disable / Remove the Card

  1. Go to Access → Users and open the person’s record.

  2. Scroll to the Cards section.

  3. Remove the card number or mark it disabled.

  4. Click Save.

Notes
Best when a card is lost but the person stays.

WarningLost or stolen card: Remove or disable it immediately (Option B). A lost card that isn’t removed can still open doors until you do. If you’re not sure the change took effect, contact HDSS to verify.
