How to Delete a DVR or NVR from the Hik-Connect App
Follow these steps to remove a device from your Hik-Connect account:
1️⃣ Open the Hik-Connect App
2️⃣ Go to the Device List
3️⃣ Swipe to Access Settings

Swipe left on the device you want to delete.

You’ll see a gear icon ⚙️ appear on the right.

Tap the gear icon to open the device settings.
5️⃣ Confirm Deletion
✅ Done!
The DVR/NVR will now be removed from your Hik-Connect account.
If you need to re-add it later, simply scan the QR code on the recorder again.
⚠️ Important Notes

If you’re sharing the device with others, deleting it will also stop their access.

If the device is bound to your account, it must be unbound before someone else can add it on their account.

For some older DVRs/NVRs, you may need to log in using a browser or iVMS-4200 to unbind the device if it doesn’t release from the app.
